This driving and walking tour is a great day out for fans of British Royalty. It is also one of my favourites. As a Blue Badge guide, I have the exclusive privilege to be able to guide you inside 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Westminster Abbey and The Tower of London.

Our driving tour is a panoramic sightseeing trip with a running commentary punctuated by stops at some of London's most famous landmarks. We then have the opportunity to go inside the Royal Church of Westminster Abbey (entry fee is not included) where Britain's kings and queens are crowned. We will also visit The Tower of London, the Royal Palace and fortress (entry fee is not included). The Tower is home to the famous Crown Jewels used in the coronation of English Kings and Queens including Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III. Inside its mediaeval walls you will see 2 of the tower's most famous residents, the Beefeaters and the legendary Ravens. You'll hear stories of some of the infamous prisoners who have been held behind its walls.

Afternoon Highlights;

  • Guided tour of The Tower of London/Crown Jewels (entry fee not included). Then a panoramic driving tour to see the River Thames, Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral and many many more. . .

  • Transfer back to your hotel or to any Central London location of choice

Note; In high season it is recommended tickets are purchased in advance of the tour to avoid disappointment.

Essentials

  • I will be your Driver/Guide in an air-conditioned London Black Taxi and provide a full, clear, audible commentary through an intercom

  • I offer a door-to-door service, collecting you and taking you back to your Hotel or preferred central London location

  • Tour incorporates parking up and taking short walks. Prefer not to walk? No problem, we’ll drive more

  • I will accompany you throughout but if you would like some time to explore/lunch by yourself that’s fine too, this is your tour

  • Prices are per tour, not per head, up to a maximum of 5 passengers. Payment on the day by cash or credit card

  • Entry fees to Westminster Abbey and Tower of London are not included in the cost of the tour.
