Royal London and Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace - 9 hours

This tour starts in the morning with the Royal London 3 hour driving and walking tour, taking in many of Britain's famous royal buildings, then you can choose to visit Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace in the afternoon.

London boasts countless royal homes, some still occupied by the Queen and her family. During our morning together we will admire many of the British royal family’s homes, which range from medieval castles to the current residences. 

In the afternoon we will journey out of London, stopping for lunch (costs not included) on the way, before arriving at Windsor or Hampton to enjoy the rest of this very royal day.

Hampton Court Palace

The palace was built by Cardinal Wolsey 500 years ago, then became home to one of England's most notorious kings, Henry VIII. Hampton is really two palaces in one; Henry VIII's Tudor Palace and William III's Baroque Palace. Enjoy Tudor kitchens, the Great Hall and Chapel Royal, an ancient working tennis court and fabulous gardens featuring the UK's oldest surviving hedge maze. Children will love the Magic Garden.

Windsor Castle

Windsor is the largest and oldest continually occupied castle in the world, home to the British royals for almost 1000 years. Visit exquisite state rooms and get up close to the art and antiques collected by the Royal Family over the centuries. Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House is a must-see, as is St George’s Chapel where Henry VIII and Jane Seymour are buried.

I am a Blue Badge Guide. The only guides but can accompany you around Windsor Castle.
