This private walking tour with a Blue Badge guide will take in many of London's most recognisable landmarks and give you the opportunity to enjoy the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The day starts in the royal and political heart of London. Our walk will take in sites including the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St Margarets Church, Westminster Abbey and St James's Palace (all viewed from the outside only)

We will get to march along with the soldiers for the Changing of the Guard ceremony as it processes from London's most senior Palace, St James's Palace to London's most recognisable Palace, Buckingham Palace. After you've taken all of the photo opportunities that your hearts desire we will walk through St James's Park to Horse Guards Parade to see the soldiers and horses guarding the official entrance to the Palaces'. We will then walk to the geographical centre of London, Trafalgar Square. The most famous square in England were the country comes to celebrate, commemorate and celebrate. The square is also known for ‘Nelsons column’. 170 foot memorial celebrating the victory of a British hero, Lord Horatio Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1605.

Note; the Changing of the Guard Ceremony can be cancelled without notice during bad weather. In this circumstance the walk is extended to see more of the area around Westminster

The Guard Change Ceremony takes place on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays except for June and July where it takes place every day.

As this is a walking tour you are advised to wear suitable clothing and shoes.
